Palm Valley Cocktails opened final weekend, bringing a bit of mid-century desert vibe to Dublin’s Bridge Park.
It occupies a small nook house on Riverside Drive, with a patio that appears out over the park and the river.
The decor is easy however relaxed, feeling like a bit of oasis in the course of a busy neighborhood.
The menu contains quite a lot of cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks.
I tasted the Frank Lloyd Wright: Wild Turkey 101, Cynar, spiced-coconut sugar, tiki bitters. Undoubtedly candy, however a stunning sipper.
And the Desert Crab Mai-Tai brings a bit of drama with Planteray 3-Star Rum, dry curaçao, roasted pepita-camomile or worry, and recent lime.
Palm Valley Cocktails is open Sunday-Thursday, 5 p.m. to midnight, and Friday-Saturday, 5 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
