The Purple Door Cafe is a cute little espresso store that’s a part of the newly constructed Zora’s Home in Weinland Park! It’s situated on the entrance of the area, and is open to the general public and serving espresso and snacks
If you happen to’re not accustomed to Zora’s Home, it’s a non-profit co-working and neighborhood area for girls of shade, named for American author Zora Neale Hurston (well-known for, amongst different issues, her novel Their Eyes Had been Watching God).
Zora’s Home opened their new area on North Fourth Avenue in the summertime of 2024; it’s simply across the nook from the Huckleberry Home, an area for at-risk and homeless youth.
There’s simple parking out entrance for those who’re grabbing espresso and snacks to-go, or there are a couple of tables (and a pleasant patio area) if you wish to keep awhile.
Along with espresso, the instances are loaded with extra drinks, sandwiches, snacks. You’ll acknowledge locals like Bake Me Comfortable, Three Bites Bakery, and Too Good Eats.
